This week's photo challenge is all about being silly! How fun is that?!? I love photographing children and capturing their personalities and their silliness. This little girl I have shown just hammed it up for the camera the whole shoot. If she didn't hear the click of the camera then she'd ask why. It's been awhile since I have participated in I Heart Faces Photo Challenge. But when I saw today's challenge, "by the book", I just had to enter. I have the perfect photo for this that I took this summer of my best friend's son during his 6 month photo session. He's such a cutie holding his little book. Deciding on a Best Face Photo of 2010 was not easy. I had many beautiful clients! I chose this picture of Chelsea because she was a part of my first Teen/Senior Photo Session. {Jalapeño} I Heart Faces Photo Contest | Kansas City Pet Photographer

I absolutely love dogs and taking pictures of them! You probably notice I like posting pictures of my dogs on here. I am a dog lover for sure. We got our first dog, Miley, in June 2009 and then Cooper in Dec. 2009. They are like my kids..but a lot easier :) My husband even tried to convince me to get another dog but i said no. They are a lot of work and so messy and expensive. I told him I would rather have a baby...hehe. Not sure he was a fan of that. Since we don't plan on adopting anymore dogs, we have several niece dogs to enjoy. Here is an image of my niece dog, Jalapeño. Great name huh! She is a puggle, mix of a beagle and pug. My sister, Kelli, is her mommy! Isn't she a cutie! I love her little under-bite too!

Don't worry I will definitely be posting more pictures of this sweetie along with my other niece/nephew dogs :) But for now check out more pet faces at I Heart Faces!

{I Heart Faces Contest} Pink

This is one of my favorite pictures I took of my friend Sarah and her daughter, Maggie. They are so adorable, especially in pink! I'm entering this photo into the I Heart Faces Photo Contest. The theme is pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Luckily, I do not know anyone personally who has had breast cancer and hopefully, I never will.
