I let the dogs out to play for awhile as it was soo nice out. Well our yard has lots of missing grass and holes in it from the dogs digging them! So there were still several holes filled with water from when it rained a few days before. I played fetch with him for awhile and went inside. About 20 minutes later they want in and here comes Cooper covered in mud..his face, legs and paws! I was not a happy momma! So bath time it was. He sure was not happy for his bath! So funny!

I had my first ad published this Winter in the Perfect Wedding Guide! It was pretty exciting! Hope to upgrade to bigger and better advertising eventually. But this is a start!

This week, I was working in my office and my beagle girl, Miley Moo, decided to jump up on my couch and cuddle up on the pillows. She is not normally allowed on my new couch but it was just so cute. So here she is being so cute and so sweet for once :)

Project 52 - Week 6

This week was Valentine's Day. We rarely do anything too exciting for Valentine's Day but I realized that it was my husband and I's 7th Vday together! It's hard to believe we met 7 years ago and have been married almost 3 years. Time does really fly when you are having fun. So for Valentine's Day my hubby got me a mix of colored roses. I was definitely surprised. So I pulled out my macro and photographed one of the roses. So pretty!

Project 52 - Week 5

Last week was a rough week. My wonderful grandfather whom we call Papap passed away. He had many health problems and was a fighter through most of them. So we headed to Indy for his funeral. It was nice seeing all of my relatives despite the reason we were there. We told lots of stories of Papap and even laughed but of course there was lots of crying too. We will miss you Papap.. our cranky grandpa that we loved! We left the funeral with lots of plants and flowers sent by friends and family. One of them gave us a Peace Lily plant which my sister claimed. But it's so beautiful that I had to get a photo of it with my new Canon 100 mm Macro 2.8 lens.

Project 52 - Week 4 {Hands}

Week 4's theme was Hands over at Evoking You. I have been trying to get back into shape..well slowly and started lifting weights again. So here's me and my 8 pound weight.

Project 52 - Week 3 {Imagine}

Week 3's theme was Imagine over at Evoking You. So my photo is a photo of an adorable baby hat. I bought this hat to photograph a newborn session and forgot to bring it to the shoot. So now I love to look at it and imagine that one day I will have my own baby to wear an adorable hat like this. I so look forward to that moment. :)

Project 52 - Week 2 {Belly Laughs}

Last week the theme was Belly Laughs over at Evoking You. However, my husband was out of town and all I have to photograph is my dogs. So I improvised and went with doggy laughs! Cooper just finished playing fetch and he is so happy when he plays. So I caught him in his happy mood...all doggie smiles here. Isn't he such a cutie? I also used some textures from the Painter Texture set on top of this photo to add some depth to it. I think it turned out well. Check out the shop to buy some of these awesome photo textures or photo overlays.

Project 52 - Week 1 {Mirror}

Since I failed miserably at Project 365 last year.. (see them here &
here) only lasting 2 months or so, I'm going to give Project 52 a try. Once a week will be hopefully be more doable than every day. I am joining in on the blog hop over at Evoking You. Feel free to check it out and join in on the fun also.
