Snowy Bridal Photos {Kristen & Kelley}

This past winter, I photographed two friends in their wedding dresses..in the snow! It was freezing that day and the snow was coming down like crazy! I about froze my fingers off and these girls didn't complain one bit about the cold. It was so much fun taking photos in the snow! Can't wait for next year's snow fall. But since it's almost summer, I will take that instead. Enjoy these gorgeous photos and the warm weather coming this week. 

Oread Hotel and Adams Alumni Center Wedding {Michael & Laura}

Michael and Laura are such a sweet couple! I met them at a bridal show last year and it turns out I photographed Laura's sister's senior photos a few years ago as well. I always love when I get returning families. 

I photographed Michael and Laura's adorable engagement session at Union Station awhile back. It was fun and classy. If you missed, it check out their Union Station engagement photos. 

The wedding was on a beautiful, hot day in August with the sun beaming down on the balcony of The Oread Hotel in Lawrence. We were able to get a few photos on campus but due to time, not as many as I would have liked. AFter the ceremony, we headed over to the Adams Alumni Center for an elegant dinner and reception. I loved all the wonderful, antique details that surrounded the room. From the bride's parent's cake topper, to the antique champagne glasses and wedding photos of the bride and groom's parents.
