Luca's Monkey Themed First Birthday Party

My little guy, Luca, turned 1 on November 1. I spent tons of time making his adorable Monkey Themed 1st Birthday Party! I made the invitation, banner, signs, cupcake toppers, birthday cake, monkey cookies and more! It turned out great despite it being my busy season with the business. We had close friends and family attending and it means a lot they all came! Luca ended up being a little cranky during his party. As you scroll down you'll see how excited/unhappy he was about his cake. A few days later, he ended up with a double ear infection. So it all makes sense now. All in all it was a great party! It's hard to believe how fast a year went! I love my little Luca!

Overland Park Baby Photographer {Gavin}

It was a cloudy, humid day when I photographed baby Gavin at Antioch Park. He sure didn't want to make my job easy and it was so hard getting him to smile! But I finally got a couple and I just love being a baby photographer. There's just something about babies of all ages that is so much fun! Especially since, I'm a mom now, I love babies even more. They change so fast and it's so exciting. I always look forward to what Luca is going to do next and try to enjoy his current stage as well. The joys of motherhood are wonderful. Arye was so fun to photograph. She totally hammed it up for the camera making funny faces and waiting to hear the click of the shutter before making a new face.
