Engagement Photos at Loose Park Kansas City {Jess & Phil}

The first time I met Jessica, she went to the wrong Starbucks and locked her keys in the car. Poor girl. She was having a bad day, but was still so happy and excited to talk about her engagement and upcoming wedding to Phil. She was super sweet and I was hoping to shoot their wedding. Well I am! yay! So we met up for some engagement photos at Loose Park in Kansas City, Missouri, which is a popular place for photos in general. It's beautiful with the fountain, pond, swings, rose garden and more. Some of the leaves had already changed colors which we loved. Also Phil got creative and started climbing a tree. These two are so much fun and I can't wait to shoot their wedding next summer. Premier Wedding Photographer Kansas City {My New Favorite Wedding Image}

I just had to share my new favorite wedding image with you all. I took this photo when second shooting with Anna Lynch McClary Photography in Nebraska City, Nebraska last weekend. The ceremony was at the barns at Arbor Day Farm and the reception was at the Lied Lodge.This image is in the barn of the Arbor Day Farm. How gorgeous is this? I love it. Photojournalistic Kansas City Engagement & Wedding Photographer {Toni & Ivan Engagement Session}

A few weeks ago, I photographed Toni and Ivan's Engagement Session. I loved Toni and Ivan the first time I met them. They were so fun and easy going, which can be the best attitude to have during engagement and weddings. We definitely clicked personality wise, which is awesome. They both work at Cerner and are highly motivated workers. They also love to travel, especially to Australia. Too bad they weren't getting married in Australia. How cool would that be? The session took place at Loose Park and Nelson Atkin's Museum. Both are beautiful places to photograph. It was a challenging shoot in that Ivan hates to smile or as he says can't.
