Kansas City Wedding Photographer {Wedding Inspiration Wednesday}

I came across a new site called Borrowed and Bleu..Inspiration for the One of a Kind Wedding. This site has all kinds of wedding related things.. DIY Ideas, Vendor Guide, Inspiration Boards, Real Weddings and more. I am definitely considering becoming a vendor because this is such a fun site! I also like the Real Weddings because it's fun to see weddings from all over the United States..such as on the beach (especially since Kansas City Weddings don't have these type of opportunities). I would love to travel and photograph weddings am available for Destination Wedding Photography. So these real weddings even serve as inspiration for me as a Kansas City Wedding Photographer.


The site also has inspiration boards such as this one for an Alice in Wonderland Themed Tea Party.

Kansas City Wedding Photographer {Wedding Inspiration Wednesday}

It's time for another Wedding Inspiration Wednesday. I came across a wonderful shop that sells exquisite, handcrafted bridal hair accessories and veils. It's called Serpehine and the crafty Erin Brooks is the owner and creator. For all those brides, looking for some unique hair accessories or veils you must visit her site. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

Kansas City Wedding Photographer {Wedding Inspiration Wednesday}

If you are looking for Do-it-yourself (DIY) ideas, you should visit Project Wedding. I don't know about you but I love candy buffets. I had one at my wedding and love when others have them. Why do you ask??? Because I LOVE candy. Project Wedding has a really great list on how to create your candy buffet, called Candy Buffet 101. Be sure to check it out for some great tips.

Another DIY idea is making truffle favor boxes found on the Project Wedding site. Oh how do I love chocolate, especially truffles.

You can't go wrong with giving away chocolate or candy at your wedding.

If you don't want to give edible favors, there are many sites where you can buy wedding favors. Projectweddingfavors.com has many items, which can be searched for by season, color, etc.  I really like these Vineyard Wine Stoppers, which would go great with a vineyard wedding. Who doesn't like wine??

Or try the Knot's favors. These luggage tags are fun for destination weddings. Each guest can use them on their luggage on their flight home.

Kansas City Wedding Photographer {Wedding Inspiration Wednesday}

As a semi-recent Kansas City bride, I loved reading wedding blogs and finding inspiration. I just wanted to share a few of my favorite wedding blogs. Have you checked out the blog on MyWedding.com, called Delightfully Engaged? You can search weddings by style, color and season, which is so helpful when planning a wedding. I also love the inspiration boards. This peachy cream one is so pretty.

You can also see real life weddings and get inspiration from those. Look at this beautiful sunset wedding. Hopefully, one day, one of my Kansas City Wedding Couples will get to be featured on this amazing blog! Also check out Erin Leigh Studio's Kansas City Wedding Brochure on the mywedding.com site.

Have you heard of OneWed.com? This site has some great resources. You can look at wedding dresses, search for honeymoons, and even local vendors such as photographers or florists.

 

Another great blog is Emmaline Bride, which features weddings and great DIY ideas such as this brooch bouquet.
